2012 BP Roadeo

So every year BP sponsors a Roadeo, where people professional and non-professional get a chance to use heavy machinery.  Ever wanted to drive a loader and move around some palets?  Well, you can at the Roadeo!  If you want to wait an hour to do it.  Hence, why I did not get into one of these fine machines, but watched some of my fellow crew members do so.
Jonathan driving the loader with a pallet.
This "game" you take five pallets one by one to a spot and then move all five,
stacked pallets back to the original spot.
One of the housekeepers doing the Bobcat game.
You're supposed to pick up four basketballs and put them through the "hoop".
Almost got it!
Julie moving her five pallets to the final spot.

The only thing I did wait for was the big lift.  I don't remember or think that it is actually just called a lift, but that is essentially what it does.  Like the kind of lift electricians use to fix towers and such.  Anyway, it goes up some 100ft or so and then we would drop softballs, trying to get them into a trash can below.  I was ridiculously close a few times but did not make it.  But, Jonathan did on his very last ball and won a hat!  All in all, a fun little "carnival" especially for people watching.
