I was a little bummed yesterday when the weather was dreary. Endless snow made me think we would have to set our schedule back pretty far. But, I forgot how quickly things can change in the Arctic. Today was quite a beautiful day and we were able to complete some surveys. Everything is still taking a bit to get used to again, I forgot some important maps when we arrived at the plots today and had to drive all the way back and get them. In the words of Homer, "D'oh!" It takes a bit to get into the swing of things, and I know that everything will start to go more smoothly in the next week.

Haha! Yes, I am still totally immature for finding this funny. So much so, I have made it my goal to get a picture of every animal pooping on the tundra. Well, mammals at least are a little easier, but it will be done! Maybe. Jie also got real-live footage of the action, so epic!
