Jesus is a Friend of Mine

Here is a video of my pal, Jesus. Yes, Jesus is my friend. Did I mention Jesus is a very happy-go-lucky yellow lab? No? Well, he is. Jesus likes to phalarope when he plays with his stick. (See, phalarope totally works as a verb!)

A little background on Jesus. He is the only pet in Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse. There actually used to be a cat named Deadhorse Denver, but he has since passed. Jesus belongs to Mike of 70 North. It is the bushplane service Wildlife Conservation Society uses to fly the crew that goes out to the remote site. In fact, if you are ever watching a show on National Geographic channel called Life Below Zero, you may catch a glimpse of the pilot, Bob. He confirmed that he was on the show and how ridiculous reality TV is, even the "extreme" shows.

Jie mentioned when I said that Jesus was my friend, that there was a video of a song called "Jesus is My Friend" she saw some years ago. Watching this video, I wonder if this guy met Jesus the lab, he would dedicate the song to him. I like to think that he would.
